I receive a lot of mail. The most heartbreaking letters, of course, are from Muslims in Muslim countries who have left Islam or question Islam, and their intellectual freedom is met with violence from family members and friends. They write to cry for help. I get a few of those emails a week, and I help each one to the best I can. Notice how they aren’t writing CAIR for help.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Ali Sina for helping me handle the most difficult and gruesome of those letters. In a number of instances, Ali has gotten a number of these victims who have written to me out of their countries and to safe harbor.
This email is of a different nature. The journey of this young woman, whose name I have changed for obvious reasons, is all too common, but little told. It is difficult to break free from the institutionalized thinking, reinforced in every corner of the our culture, concerning Islam. Those who challenge the propagandist narrative are smeared and libeled. Few take the risk.
I salute this “escapee.” Her note to me is a declaration of freedom and an invitation to others to question their premise and not be afraid to think.

I dated a young woman that had dated a Muslim during my college years, he beat her until she finally had him arrested.
Some people on here think that public schools are actually teaching grammar and spelling. LOL

Ever notice during times of crisis and public sorrow or mourning, churches of all denominations, as well as Synagogues and and even a local Wat, post messages on their signs outside the buildings. 911, Sandy, Floods, etc, theses places of worship publicly pray for those affected. None of the mosques I have lived near have out those types of signs up..
I agree with you. She apparently has learned her lesson well. Good for her; good for finding Pam Geller. I only met Geller once but she’s not only a very attractive NYC lady, she’s very kind as well.

My friend was dating a guy who was a “moderate” Muslim, originally from Morocco. He was very charming at first. Then she got pregnant, and he actually married her. While she was engaged, but not yet married, he took her to Morocco to meet his parents. I was scared for her life!. She ended up having another son with him before they divorced. Fortunately, she gave him “sons”. He treated her like dirt and verbally abused her constantly. To add insult to injury, HE filed for spousal support from HER! Their shared custody agreement is a nightmare. He’s doing the same thing with his current fiancee.
They must enjoy them gawking at their bodies (which I experienced when working out in gymns in the UK). Frankly, I found it creepy....especially when they would follow me to the changing room. I found them (when I was younger) to be absolute arrogant pigs.

It may be cruel, but it is a fact. Had this girl been forced to date this dude sight unseen, then yes, it may be cruel. But dating takes time, and once she decided to do so, she could have just as easily read up on just a bit, and starting putting the pieces together. She dated this coward for 3 years. How much time is needed for her to figger this out before she can be appropriately called “stupid”?
I wonder how she got the smell out. If she did at all.
