The Beverly Hills Hotel has a rich Hollywood history, but that hasn’t stopped comedians Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres, among others, from protesting and speaking out against its owners.
Leno joined protesters across the street from the hotel Monday to decry the fact that the hotel is owned by the oil-rich government of Brunei.
The Southeast Asian nation has been in the headlines of late over the phasing in of new Islamic laws that will enact harsh punishments for homosexuality, abortions and adultery.
Other celebrities like Sharon Osbourne and Richard Branson have also taken to social media to speak out against Brunei’s harsh criminal laws. On April 22, DeGeneres tweeted, “I won’t be visiting the Hotel Bel-Air or the Beverly Hills Hotel until this is resolved” (Brunei also owns Hotel Bel-Air).

Jay Leno's comments in particular, mentioning that the idiocy surrounding the Clippers last week pales in relationship to the stoning of women in adultery shows there is still some sanity.
I hear Premier League fans whine when new Asian owners change team colors; what did people think would happen when the West was auctioned off to the highest bidder? Good to see it get some visibility...

Where were these good people when gay sharia was being cracked down on Eich a month ago ? Any signs about Islamists capturing 300 Nigerian Christian girls? It must be safe to criticize Brunei.

Gee, when conservatives point out the evils of Sharia law, they are called racist and Islamaphobic. The Hollywood elite are only outraged because of Islamic attitudes toward gays.
BFD. They’re protesting sharia’s muslim laws that will punish homosexuality, abortions and adultery. How about the brutal suppression of Christians and Jews who have the misfortune of living in muslim hellholes?

Good luck,you should seek out the stories about the Chinese buying up swaths of Real Estate in this country and building Chinese cities,there was one recently ,thousands of acres in Dutchess county New York,they will be building manufacturing,housing,educational buildings and teaching CHINESE CULTURE.
Down south a town in Alabama has give land for free for the Chinese to build a plant for jobs.
