LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — President Barack Obama is expected to travel to the Southland Wednesday.
After arriving at LAX, the president is expected to attend a fundraiser in Bel Air. He will then head to the USC Shoah Foundation’s 20th anniversary event at the Century Plaza Hotel.
On Thursday morning, he is scheduled to attend a Democratic National Convention function at the Beverly Hills Hotel before heading to another fundraiser at a private residence in La Jolla.
There will be traffic delays in West Los Angeles during the president’s visit.

The following areas should be avoided when possible:
On Wednesday:
The area around Motor Avenue and Pico Blvd. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The area around Pico Blvd. and Beverly Glen Blvd. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The area around Santa Monica Blvd and Beverly Glen from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The area around Sunset Blvd. and Beverly Glen from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The area around Santa Monica Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Thursday:
The area around Santa Monica Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
NOTE: All trucks will be restricted from travel along Wilshire Blvd. between Santa Monica and Avenue of the Stars from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The area around Pico Blvd. and Motor Avenue from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Supreme Court ruling on prayers made it impossible for Obama to fly in to Arkansas—close races.
Every time the king goes somewhere, you have to look at the list of events to see which one they have classified as "official business" to justify having the taxpayer pay for all the fundraisers and party events. You will always find one.
