We won the nomination for the Virginia governor’s race, and the GOPe did everything they could to destroy our candidate.

I have wondered if some of these shills are fond of amnesty. It seems like that more than any other issue has this kind of 5th column within the GOP. The pro choice section was kind of slain years back, there’s an aggressive little homo lobby that doesn’t wield too much influence, but Amnesty... now there you get some real pushback within the party itself if you oppose illegal immigration. I think it does have to do with those moneyed interests and there are too many so-called conservatives who enjoy doing the dirty work of Chamber of Commerce tycoons.
If Tillis wins the Primary, EVERY anti-LIEberal, anti-democrat voter in North Carolina should vote for him in the General Election.

Every major conservative agenda item matters. Especially if it is about expanding government, increasing taxes, crony capitalism, unrestricted abortions, increasing welfare and food stamps and unemployment to able bodied adults, nation building in countries which hate us, increasing restrictive regulations on small businesses, etc. All those matter. If the vote is about some small boondoggle, I can ignore it.
As for voting for judicial appointments, the elected president should be able to choose. That is what the election was for. Those who abstained from voting have no business to squeal like a wounded pig when Obama appoints some liberal judge.
