Adam Silver shot the NBA in the foot. If he’d just fined him and suspended him the rest of the season, the marketplace would have determined whether Sterling would have remained an owner. Now he has the opportunity foir a legal fight.
Problem is if the marketplace decided against Sterling that would take money out of ALL the franchises hands. An NBA team is like a McDonald’s, you can’t just let one sink without it damaging the whole.
