I just received a phone call asking me if I would vote for the Republican or Democrat in the upcoming Congressional election. I selected Republican and they launched into all kinds of negative stuff about Republican David Jolly including comments like he would vote to turn Medicare into a voucher system. I hung up.

I start as a reasonable independent and tell the caller don’t about the GOP, I can’t stand them. Tell me about what the Dem will do. Then I say that folks round here are pissed about the coverup of the Venona Papers. I can go on non-stop on Commies, Truman and Eisenhower’s cowardice and why J. Edgar Hoover was the only honest man in the last 75 years ... Oh lordy, don’t get me started ... Gore’s father was a Commie ... Clinton’s uncle was the Mob in North Little Rock ... Alioto was the Mob, the Cuomos too ...
