I don’t get it. My friend, who spends 1/2 year in St Louis and 1/2 year in Florida, ought to look like an old leather show and she doesn’t look bad at all. She would lay out in the sun when the heat would make me literally sick.

I guess my skin is in better shape but I’ve had 3 skin cancers. So weird!

Who knows? Maybe there is something to the intermittent over-exposure and the low Vitamin D someone mentioned up thread.

Certainly, though, people in climates like where I live are at greater risk.The numbers do show that. I think Australia is the worst.

I am a pretty moley northern Euro descendent. Definitely a prime candidate. But, I can't live in the clouds and grey--did that for the first 24 years of my life. I am much happier in a sunny climate.
