A Nevada congressman is calling on elected officials in the state to rid a town in his district of militia members who have rallied around rancher Cliven Bundy in his battle with federal land managers.
Rep. Steven Horsford, in an address to the Clark County Democratic Convention in Las Vegas on Saturday, said hes making the request after hearing more complaints from constituents about the presence of Bundy supporters near Bunkerville, 75 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
In encampments around the Bundy ranch, self-described militia members from around the country continue to camp with handguns on their hips and heavier weaponry within reach in a show of support for Bundy.
Bundy, a states rights advocate who refuses to acknowledge the authority of the federal government, owes more than $1 million in fees and penalties for letting his cattle use government land over the past 20 years. Last month, the Bureau of Land Management stopped trying to round up his cattle after a showdown with hundreds of Bundy supporters, some of them armed.

He is from Vegas (Los Angeles East). no way he gets recalled.
“And that is why I am calling on (Gov.) Brian Sandoval, Sen. Dean Heller, the (Clark County) sheriff (Doug Gillespie) and any other elected official in Nevada to do their part to get rid of these armed separatists,” Horsford said to loud cheers from about 200 delegates.
“Separatists” ? What? I don’t think any of those Bundy supporters are advocating any such thing, there’s no breakaway movement. Sounds like Horsford is just using language to sensationalize and stigmatize good American people who just want the Federal Government to not point sniper rifles at them. The
It’s amazing how BS stops when men with rifles stand up. FU Horsford.
I believe the expression is “pound sand”. Something someone from Nevada should know about.
And on private property with permission of the owner at that.
They are taking the wrong approach to this matter. They should take all the kids out of school and have them “March for Social Justice”. A march by kids always solves the problem.

You can’t recall a federally elected officeholder. Impeachment is the sole recourse for that. Barring that, take his ass down in November.
Perhaps this Congressman is willing to lead the way?
Im yet to find a GOP congressional candidate in NV who isn’t pro-amnesty.
The only one I found was an underfunded Hispanic named Carlo Poliak. There is some reference to his positions.

Nevada unemployment is not a isolated predicament. To alleviate unemployment, lets begin by REVOKING green card work permits issued to immigrants, regardless of their objections, to enable U.S. CITIZENS unemployed to apply for those jobs vacated. Stringently enforce immigration laws and tattoo identification on their foreheads to identify any who dare reenter U.S. FINE, employers who deliberately hire illegal’s.

Poliak said he’s running to preserve Medicare and Social Security and push for lowering the retirement age to 60 as in some European countries. He said the federal government can pay for it by cutting subsidies to oil companies and halting tax breaks to develop green energy.
I endorsed Niger Innis in NV-4. Is he actually pro-shamnesty ?
He consulted Bush and Rubio. Hardy is pro-amnesty as well but white RINOs are easier to manage.
I don’t think either will win. Too many people will vote for the always available third party in NV.
He consulted Jeb and Rubio.

“The plan involves allowing most of the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States to become legal and offers citizenship to limited groups of people.”
