I am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. If Gowdy thinks he needs to keep it under wraps for now, I think he has good reasons. Not to mention that by keeping it silent, he makes people wonder what he has, and that has to be scaring the pee out of a lot of Democrats.

Is it possible he has a mole (whistleblower) in the administration? That would be awesome.

I’ll admit I don’t keep up with Gowdy “day to day”. However, the last I know, he was in on the pro-amnesty meetings with Paul Ryan. And he made a big statement about giving a deadline to some IRS guy who was stonewalling on that investigation (as far as I know, nothing came of it).

I like Gowdy — and want to like him — but I worry he’s becoming lots of smoke and no fire. Like Issa.

He’s keeping it under wraps for the same reason Arpaio and Zullo have not made public what they have.

They’re all intelligent and know how to run a criminal investigation.
