I’ll admit I don’t keep up with Gowdy “day to day”. However, the last I know, he was in on the pro-amnesty meetings with Paul Ryan. And he made a big statement about giving a deadline to some IRS guy who was stonewalling on that investigation (as far as I know, nothing came of it).
I like Gowdy — and want to like him — but I worry he’s becoming lots of smoke and no fire. Like Issa.

Not really. Some on FR have been selling this false narrative based upon their erroneous interpretations of Rep. Gowdy's interactions with other Congressmen, things he said on a radio show that were taken out of context, and misinformation gleaned from several anti-Gowdy websites.
You may have missed this email reply last Thursday from Gowdy to my request that he please clarify his position regarding amnesty:

He really is quite clear where his emphasis TRULY is, in spite of continuing bombardment from some detractors on FR who have posted that he is a liar and/or traitor.
