The dead dude was coached to refuse food and drink so his veins would collapse and it would be difficult to start an IV.
A long drop with a short rope would eliminate all the fuss over death by injection.

The SOB (son of Barack) cut his arm to open a vein and had to be tazed.
Therefore any and all difficulties and delays in his death were ENTIRELY his own doing.
