According to the White House calendar, there is no public record of President Barack Obama attending his daily intelligence briefing in the week leading up to the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the murder of U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff.

According to a recent study by the Government Accountability Institute, Mr. Obama has only attended 43.8 percent of his Presidential Daily Briefs in the first 1,225 days of his Administration.

The White House responded by claiming that President Obama reads daily intelligence reports, even if he does not attend the briefings personally.

IMO, this is what caused the 0bama campaign team to cover-up Benghazi. They knew America would not re-elect a President who doesn't care about national security (which 0 doesn't).

Trey Gowdy needs to put Axelrod under oath, have professional prosecutors ask the questions, and let it all play out on C-SPAN.

Of course Obama had continuous intelligence briefings during that period.

For security purposes these intelligence briefings were referred to publicly as “Campaign meetings” and “Las Vegas fundraisers”

Trey is a former South Carolina prosecutor.

And he's damned good. But the correct process is to have 3rd party lawyers ask the questions.

Obama doesn’t like security briefings. They’re boring, not cool. Sitting there with a bunch of straights who didn’t even smoke pot throughout high school is not his thing, man.

Krauthammer’s Take: New Benghazi E-mail Akin to Discovery of Nixon Tapes

NRO May 1, 2014

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxtr9_8yoqI&feature=player_embedded

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It is appalling that President Obama never was in the Situation Room the night of September 11, 2012, as our ambassador to Libya and three other men were being attacked, captured, and eventually killed after being dragged through the streets of Benghazi and tortured in hideous fashion.

Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, said that he: ‘Could not put forces at risk’ in order to rescue our men who were under Muslim terrorist attack in Benghazi.

An article in the Prague newspaper, Prager Zeitungon hit the bulls-eye:

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.”

If Trey Gowdy Chairs the Congress Select Committee to investigate Benghazi, this scandal will prove to be much worse than Watergate.

Trey might have some fun doing this and maybe create some history along the way.
I pray for Trey.

I'm sure the intel briefings were just too boring for someone of his extraordinary talents:

"... I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually. ... So what I sensed in him was not just a restless spirit but somebody with such extraordinary talents that they had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy." Jarrett was quite sure that one of the few things that truly engaged him fully before going to the White House was writing Dreams from My Father. "He's been bored to death his whole life," she said.

And oh, so he wrote Dreams of my Father, did he? Yeah, right.

Of course he doesn’t attend. If he attended he would know what was going on and might be held responsible for something, anything.

Obama is and always will be a Slacker!!

No matter the point in his life, he has always been disengaged.

The only thing he engages in & enjoys is reading prepared speeches in front of like minded liberals before an afternoon of golf.

His intelligence briefing went like this:

Handler: Can you still read the teleprompter?

Obama: Yeah.

Handler: Good that's all the intelligence we expect out of you.
