One person in the crowd even asked Jenkins (Sgt Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department) if he was ready to die. "I don't know his name. He was wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. I'll never forget that," he said.
Better never forget that question. These Constitutional showdowns are coming again, and spoken or not, that question will also be hanging in the air again.
I recommend studying what happened in 1775. Do you really want to die being on the wrong side, as the British soldiers were?

If you got a Steelers bumper sticker now, the Feds will run your plate.

The jackboots are there for a) fun, and b) profit. Gear queer showing off and a paycheck.
The crowd was there for a) freedom, and b) rage. Our country is OURS and we haven't forgotten what happens when armed deadly force isn't aimed at tyrants who think they're entitled to murder.
Ruby Ridge and Waco led to Oklahoma City. I think you would find 100% of the "crowd" were fluent with all three events, and determined to prevent all three from ever happening again with their own blood.
Those are higher stakes than "check out my new Molle gear, dude, I'm gonna get more with the overtime from this".

A loud mouth politician/bureaucrat in Las Vegas was mouthing off about hoping the people standing against the BLM had their wills current and funeral arrangement in order. Asshole. The intent to inflict a bloodbath on Bundy's family was clear. Thankfully, enough armed assistance showed up to make it clear to the government tyrants that they were out of line. Their misbehavior would come at a severe cost.

So why was the Las Vegas Swat team out there in the first place on a Federal warrant? Hope the County had a Mutual aid agreement in place before hand otherwise that was an illegal use of City Funds.
