Krauthammer’s Take: New Benghazi E-mail Akin to Discovery of Nixon Tapes

The discovery, over a year after the September 11, 2012 terror attack in Benghazi, of an e-mail from a White House political operative that shows him suggesting that former United Nations ambassador Susan Rice underscore that the attack was a reaction to an Internet video is, according to Charles Krauthammer, like the discovery of the Nixon tapes that blew open the Watergate scandal in 1973.

More like Iran-Contra in that the Benghazi consulate was being used to run weapons to the local Jihadists. THAT is why all the stonewalling. Obama has been running his own little foreign policy in the Muslim world without any consensus in congress, at State or the Military.

The activity at the CIA annex was never supposed to see the light of day. It would expose the administration to the illegal activity. This is why the Seal team was told to stand down and when they disobeyed that order and did the right thing to protect the Ambassador, that Obama and Hillary left them out to dry. They could not acknowledge the annex by sending in troops and planes and than having to explain why. The cover was blown and they did want to expand the circle of knowledge and increase exposure. They should never have placed Stevens as a covert operations contact moving weapons unless they wanted him to go down quietly for another reason. Hillary screwed up and because Stevens was not an expendable asset they had to create another story that the media has been willing to protect. At some point the media is going to turn on the administration because it is now no longer defensible. The truth is coming out solely and surely just like Watergate did and Obama is making the same mistake and not coming clean and trusting to many other people who know to cover it up for him, but can not. The military folks know the truth and he has been purging them to keep them in-line, but now there is blood in the water and the boat is leaking and going down. Those that have already lied for Obama are now caught in the whole mess as well and many others will fall. There are just so many people caught up in this lie or who will lose power that they are all glued to this web of deceit and they will all fall more massively than the Nixon White house. Hillary and Rice and Panetta and Morell and many in the DOD and CIA and Holder need to be in front or a Select Committee and they need to go down.

I watched the NBC Evening “News” last night with Brian Williams. Not one political story. Mainly covered the weather, Flight 370 and the NBA. Nothing even on the Ukraine, let alone Obamacare or Benghazi. Goebbels would be proud.

Amazing isn't it. This is what the network news does now. They cover Hollywood, consumer tips, YouTube videos, and the weather.

A country with this kind of Goebbels media doesn't deserve to survive and it won't.

It's up to the alternative media and the people of this country to rally around it. Else forget it.

The only thing these emails do is give political cover to dig in a find out WHAT they are lying about, and WHY.

It just has to be more than a campaign theme. There's something really, really filthy at the bottom of this for all these people to be so coordinated and adamant in their lies.

I SUSPECT they sent a messenger to Obama and asked to send a ready force to help defend...and he was partying and/or drunk and told the messenger "Damnit! I TOLD you to leave me alone!"

Based on the media reporting of the incidents, they had no reason to lie.

But, for some reason they coordinated the stories of every organization in the Executive branch.
