You are a moron.

They are Russian soldiers without insignia, not protestors.

They were firing rifles at Ukrainian troops, not playing acoustic guitars.

Why are all of Putin's boyfriends infesting FR?

Will “The Great ObamaNation” get us involved in another war in a country that is even more inaccessible than Afghanistan?

The Ukrainians are moving ahead with their offensive in Eastern Ukraine against the pro-Russian, and probably Russian armed and supported, rebels. This despite the large Russian military presence/buildup immediately to their East.

Either they are desperate and willing to bet that either the Russians will not come across the border, or that the West will help them if the Russians do.

Or...they know something we do not, and perhaps agreements are already in place and forces already on alert and prepared to come to their aid if the Russians do act. I’d like to hope the Europeans would be willing to do this in support of the Urkaine...and the US too...but I would be very surprised if under the current leadership in France, the UK, GErmany and the US this were the case.

But you never know.

The Ukrainians continuing an offensive against pro-Russian seperatists is just too reminiscent of the trap Georgia fell into in 2008 when the Georgian forces did the same and then the Russians invaded. The Ukraine saw that happen, soo you have to know that they are accutely aware of the danger.

When the “protesters” are armed and many of them are actually soldiers of a foreign power, the answer is “yes”.

The BBC reported that Right Sector forces and others like them were quite instrumental in the overthrow of the former gov’t and quite violent in doing so. From what I have heard, quite e few of those attacked and possibly killed were cops.

As it turns out, the “protestors” apparently came up with a drum circle so intense that it knocked two Ukrainian helicopters out of the sky with RPGs.

I doubt they are 'protestors' but are actually Putin's minions sent out to take over the country.

Let me guess...you are a Ron Paul fan?

Yeah, according to the interwebs the Ukraine borders this weird country called "Poland."

Have you ever heard of it?

No way we have any security agreements with them, right?

WTF? 99.99% of FR wanted the Afghanistan war seconds after 9/11. Are you claiming to be a peacenik now?

There was no “over throw”. It was a parliamentary vote which replaced the Russian oligarchs who had fled back to Russia with their loot after they ordered the execution of Ukrainian protesters.

With Obama there are two likely possibilities, the Kyiv government would rely assurances and then Obama would then leave them hanging out when they needed help, or Obama would involve the US in a hot war if he saw domestic political advantage to distract from his myriad failures in the US.

The previous government was "overthrown" by a parliamentary vote of impeachment.

After the previous government had murdered dozens of unarmed, actual protestors.

Sorry, BBC guy.

Soros has invested heavily in Ukraine. Based upon that, radicals apparently have designs for Ukraine.

Given this, and post #9, and Obama botching pretty much all foreign policy that he is involved in (LIbya (Benghazi!!!), Syria, Egypt, etc) no matter how little it may be (and he has to be involved with/in Ukraine at least to some degree) I think we should stay out of this.

Interventionists, Soronistas, and McCainiacs may disagrre, though
