Last week, my friend, who is a very good doctor saw Sterling on TV and told me he wouldn’t be alive much longer, that he was really sick.

He has the right to say offensive things and we have the right to reject those words.
But, isn’t there a certain duplicity when the players themselves use the very same ugly words?

It’s scary to think and errant word and even ones of a pathology can be used to destroy you.

What if the tables were turned on them?
Should their careers become cannon fodder for the language and jokes they express?
I don’t believe the players would strike over the words of this jacks.
They make a ton of money, contingent on their at least playing.
If they mean to make their outrage known, in no uncertain terms, wouldn’t they “strike” until Sterling is removed by Silver???
They could make their point and hasten their intent, to have Sterling tarnished, immediately.
Then they could pledge to take the moral high ground and speak, no longer, using colorful and bigoted language as well.
Sterling is wrong to use this kind of expression but, I have come to understand his behavior was well known before his bimbo wench went scorched earth on him.
If 3/4 of the NBAs 30 owners do not vote to strip Sterling of his team, and in particular if the sale dioes NOT gow to Oprah Winfrey, the whole self proclaimed “black league” will go on strike and then leave to form their own league. The NBA will then be no more.
