Sadly, I don’t hear that much any longer about the lack of jobs crisis.

I think it’s like gas prices - we hear about how high they are for awhile, then it’s like we get used to them.

Has American gotten used and is willing to live with the fact that jobs are few and far between?

People in America no longer ‘work,’ Judy. 62% or so are on the dole in one form or another. Well, except for me. I’m still pulling the wagon...much to my own chagrin.

And you’re clever to observe how we’ve all been frogs in a pot of slowly bowling water; too lulled and stupid to jump out in time before we’re boiled alive!

If under a Republican administration gas prices rose sharply and/or unemployment was stubbornly high, there would be a relentless drumbeat of negative coverage in the media. Belive me, you would hear a lot about every little disappointing number. The MSM is totally corrupt.

Most would rather complain about their victimhood than get a job or create a job. Let me ask this question, how many people of Asian extraction do you see on tv complaining about their lack of opportunity? Damn few if any. They have a strong work ethic and don’t sit around waiting for a job to come to them.
As far as gas prices go we are being trained to except the gradual increase as normal and saying there is nothing we can do about it. There are things you can do about gas prices if you just think about it for a few minutes. Not my job to tell how but I will give you a hint, 5 gallon cans, 55 gallon barrels and a hand pump, plan your shopping trips with multiple stops to minimize the distance. Buy low and use when it is high, have done it for some time and saved quite a few bucks. These things are just common sense, which seems uncommon these days. You may say you live in an apartment and have no storage to do this, so move. Adapt.
There are jobs out there folks may just have to put off the purchase of a new McHouse and Rolls for a little while.
When did we become such negative, whiny, complaining people? Our forefathers would be ashamed of us.
