Sure, drug users don't deserve any rights. Kick in their doors in the middle of the night, and shoot them in their sleep.

Great for certain situations in which drugs, drug paraphernalia, weapons, etc. present probable cause..

And if that probable cause is there, they're likely being arrested and the car is inventoried (searched) as part of the impoundment process. If there isn't enough evidence for an arrest, and the cop really wants to search the car that bad, they can sit and wait for a judge to sign the warrant.
