All the things you mention were how it was in this country BEFORE the revolution against England. There were those who did NOT fight. Brave men fought for the Constitution. Are WE less brave? FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT.
Cognitive dissonance on display. Simply put, an evil American dictatorship is felt to be a contradiction. Killing innocents here can't happen. It is an impossible inconsistency.
By refusing to accept the seriousness of our situation, one can stick to the comfortable and American belief in elections. Election of the right people is all that is needed, and that belief is consistent with our tradition.
OTOH, if one accepts the fact that the Left seeks arbitrary power closer to that of Stalin rather than Ronald Reagan, that what little freedom we have exists at the pleasure of a few hundred people in DC, one has to decide what to do about it.
There is one peaceful option, so it must be pursued. It is as simple as that.
It would be safe to say I would be part of the 3% or more “this time”...
Seems to me it is almost like getting painted into a corner...The more the forces of tyranny force freedoms loving people into these situations, the less real estate we have to maneuver...
It would be interesting to go back and research what happened to the sympathizers and collaborators that helped the British back during, and after the Revolution...
That would be an interesting topic to research and get the word out to those considering the same course of action...
I’m sure not going to be very sympathetic to their plight if we manage to succeed in our pursuit of re-establishing, or separating from this corrupt, virtue-less federal government...
I know the premise of this website is to not foment such discussion, seriously, but some people do have their limitations...
