Lindsey Graham, cruising to primary victory, tackles controversial issues...
Washington Examiner ^ | 4/29/14 | Rebecca Berg

Posted on 04/30/2014 9:08:53 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

....Graham, counter to the early prognostications of many, has quelled any potential threats from Tea Party insurgents and, two months ahead of the Republican primary, is cruising to a third term in the Senate -- still gleefully tackling those controversial topics that might have made him vulnerable in the first place.

Graham is in this position by no accident. Wary of other incumbents who have not prepared for competitive re-election campaigns and lost, Graham and his campaign team have spent the intervening years raising money and shoring up support among South Carolina's political class -- all but guaranteeing Graham's path to victory.

AFAIK, the Examiner is not a leftist outlet.

South Carolina, you gave us the lovely Nikki Haley and the fine Tim Scott...AND you voted for Newt Gingrich in your presidential primary in 2012. Are you REALLY going to let McCain's girlfriend go back to the Senate???

Maybe. But I’ve seen a couple of stories now by the WE that are, in my estimation, diversionary and outright just plain BS. One was there fake poll on how Huckabee is the clear GOP non-offending choice, and now this one about Graham’s already-won primary.

This countries problems ARE NOT going to be solved via elections.

We have become too stupid and ignorant as a people.

How is this possible. Either the people of S.C. are crazy, or he’s stealing the election in Demwit fashion.

I have posted before about S Carolina politics - Graham knows everyone by name and the name of their dog. He is liked and despite his traitorous actions they will vote for him.

So yes, they get what they deserve unfortunately we have to suffer this jerk as well.

If the media and GOPe get their wishes, yes.

If left up to S. C. Constitutional conservatives, no.

(Primary June 10th, possible run-off 3 weeks later.)

Unfortunately there is a more than good chance that they will. The definition of insanity applies in this case.

Fiction from Florida.

Let's wait and see until after the June 10th primary or possible run-off 3 weeks later. Then lambaste us (shamefully dumb) transplanted South Carolinians. Fair?

Based on media reports?

What do INDEPENDENT polls show?

IT’S 6 WEEKS UNTIL THE ELECTION.

I’d say the Examiner is getting a little ahead of itself.

“This countries problems ARE NOT going to be solved via elections.

Another word you’re looking for is “immoral.” This country is in steep decline, and it’s not an economic problem— it’s a heart problem.

You call it fiction - well ok but I've got someone close to me working in S. Carolina and I am simply reporting what I hear.

Do you live there and have insights you can share?

I've come to the same conclusion. We have to let the whole edifice collapse and then rebuild constitutional government from the ashes.

I recently heard a sermon wherein the preacher said pretty much the same thing. God may very well let the whole enterprise collapse—because who learns to depend on HIM the way they should? Totally broken people.

It’s time to play dirty. Get out the sodomite stories with pictures.

If this guy gets re-elected it will PROVE the votes don’t count.
