When 13-year-old Noorah Abdo went with her family in August to the Boomers amusement park in Livermore, the ride she especially looked forward to was the go-karts. But when she got to the ticket window, she was told her head scarf, which she wore for religious reasons as a Muslim, violated the park's no-headwear safety policy for that ride.

Easy answer, bet the f*** outta the country, Muzzies.
We don’t like you...not because of your religion, but because of your attitude.
Go pound sand and leave civilization alone. You’ve managed to survive without it for many many years.
Take a hike back to you backward homeland.
your = you
‘Safety regulations’ can be discriminatory? Oh, please just GO AWAY.
My mom couldn’t go on the go karts either...too short...
Fine. If her family is good with the young woman choking a la Isadora Duncan then so be it.
Why do we accommodate stupid?
I tend to agree—but Our elected—and appointed officials do not.Seems the way it goes The enemy know they can’t force immediate change so they nibble away at the “little “stuff. Like rust on a rifle. If it ain’t addressed pretty soon the fowling piece is all fowled up.
It is a safety concern. I’m sure the park doesn’t want a lawsuit; their insurance may even require the exclusion.

Isadora Duncan wasn’t available for comment.
But word is that she was all choked up about it.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over *that*.It's the potential injury to *others* that *I'd* want to prevent.
Big dummies! Search out “girl scalped by go kart” or “girl killed by scarf”—TONS of stories...tons!
Have they ever heard of Isadora Duncan?

Apparently, EVERYBODY at the park that day was discriminated against.

My first thought as well. For the benefit of other freepers, Isadora Duncan was an avant-garde dancer at the turn of the last century who more or less paved the way for modern dance. She remained beautiful well into old age. When sportscars became the rage, she set off one day with her latest lover in a low-to-the-ground open-top roadster, wearing a long silk scarf wound around her head and neck and trailing outside the car, for that dramatic wind-blown look. The fringe of her scarf got blown into the hubcap spokes and as soon as the car accelerated, the scarf wound around the axle in a split second and snapped her neck. Ghoulish way to die.
Unfortunately, out of a culture where honor killings are no big deal and lawsuits against the infidel are a substitute for real work, the amusement company should not be forced to bear the risk liability.
