Federal law enforcement officials are investigating threats made against Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the aftermath of his sharp-edged attacks against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, sources said Monday.
Reid has not minced words about Bundy’s battle with the Bureau of Land Management, referring to Bundy’s supporters as “domestic terrorists” and the rancher himself as a “hateful racist.” As he’s stepped up his criticism, Reid has been the subject of threats himself, prompting an increase in his own security detail in recent days, people familiar with the matter said Monday.
Shennell Antrobus, a spokesman for the U.S. Capitol Police, declined to comment on the number of security personnel assigned to Reid or the nature of the threats against the Democratic leader. But he confirmed that the police are investigating “threatening statements” made against the majority leader.
“We are currently looking into threatening statements made against Sen. Reid as part of an ongoing investigation,” Antrobus said.
Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson declined to comment. It’s not unusual for a politician in such a position of power to be the subject of threats; federal officials routinely investigate threats made against leaders of all stripes.
But the Reid inquiry comes as other Democrats are raising security concerns over the Bundy episode.

On a lighter note, his fruit cake spawn (”son”) seems to be the only Democrat defending him, and even he is known to have been diapered with a “job”, only by the heavy hand of Harry causing the job’s standard requirement to be lowered enough for baby spawn to crawl over it and justify the buy-off,...oops,...I mean— landing the position. LOL!

Reid’s support has always been by way of the Culinary Union which has a strong base in illegal immigrants. That is why Reid is laughing his head off at all those joy loving gamblers who care less for the USA and pay his supporters.

also Reid is a terrible racist who should lose his franchise in the Senate. He said in 2010 that Obama was “clean and articulate” with no “NEGRO dialect”. You cant make that up!!

This is the ‘win-win’ scenario I was worried about.

‘WH Bundy Strategy’
1. Provocation of the right
2. Alinsky-rooted attacks on the right
3. Misquotes for propaganda and inflammatory effect (accuracy not significant)
4. Social argument to split the right
5. Cause-effect of 1-4 in turn reinforces dogma against the right
WH ‘Win-win’ =
No matter the outcome, the Right is split, the extreme right will feel duty-bound to ‘react’ and no matter what happens, so long as the ‘Branch Davidian effect’ is avoided, the Left and big government win the propaganda war.
I may have poorly outlined the scenario in 1-5, but it’s all I have time for. I’m convinced this was gamed from the get-go and has been in planning since it came up in some dinner conversation with RAT-power-brokers after the the Summary Judgment against Bundy last July, and that the ‘military display’ was an intentional provocation with predictable results (and perhaps a ‘little help’ from well-placed plants).
I’m also of the opinion this is consequently just a ‘distraction’ (a manufactured crisis) and those in Nevada & elsewhere need to be very on-guard that they’re being manipulated and being used as pawns by those they’re standing against. Including Bundy himself.

Being not a gambler, I was not in Nevada to gamble. Was there to fulfill a promise to a friend. Had ample opportunity to speak with Nevadans, due to the nature of the visit and friend’s situation involving a medical matter, and while speaking with Nevadans during the time of waiting, Nevadans expressed some of the thoughts your post eluded to. Found not a single happy camper among the Nevadans and nobody supported dingy. Nevadans told me about the lay of the land where the policies that had been decided for the state were detrimental to them. Nobody could explain dingy being in power other than certain elements, inside the state, as have been mentioned and not mentioned in this thread. Was an eye opening visit, to say the least.
In this communists controlled Country that will never happen. America is being held hostage by a communists organization with King Obama as their chief. America is asleep and slow to realize they have been had.

Reid has said and done a lot of things over the years that served no real purpose other than to insult and challenge good Americans.I’m surprised that some unbalanced person hasn’t fixated on Harry a long time ago.
