I like Pence. He’s a lot like Scott Walker where he could satisfy both the conservative and RINO bases.
I am a Hoosier, and also like Pence.
But I think he’s unelectable; Indiana just doesn’t carry the weight in a national election.
Yes, better than Jeb, Huckabee, Libertarian Paul, or any other RINO. I think it is give and take with Perry. Some good, some bad.
Cruz or Palin over all of them.
Pence Ping
He has long been the one who I thought would have broad appeal, impeccable conservative credentials - - and thus, can win.
“Mike Pence is a Hard-Core Conservative.

The only thing I saw that is a negative is his support for the Fairy Tax.
I could look part that though because it will never gain enough support to pass.
I always liked Mike Pence. I thought he should have run in 2012. He does not seem that hot for the job though.
He’s s a conservative (and ~could~ be a good candidate), who appeals to both the Tea Party and the GOPe, but I don’t know how much of a fighter he’d be (He did great in Congress), but since then.. a bit disappointing.
Pence is against Common Core. Indiana is also pulling in a lot of businesses from nearby Illinois.
I like Pence a LOT better than Walker, whom I do like. Walker is a good business sense guy. He is a strong leader. But, I don’t like his attitude that morals don’t matter. WE ALL KNOW THEY DO MATTER! America is in the mess we are in because of our moral condition, and it cannot hope to turn around until moral issues are addressed and our culture decides to rein in sin. That is the bottom line, really. We might get a really bright new republican leader, but if they are only good at fiscal stuff, they will do no more than just slow the process minimally. If we don’t get a good moral leader that calls on America to be “good” again, we will lose the very next election to one like Obama, or worse.
