Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene of a suspected workplace shooting in Kennesaw.
According to reports, the shooting happened at a Fed-Ex facility at 1675 Airport Road.
Authorities are searching for the shooter or shooters, at this time. According to crews on the scene, authorities have secured the entire area to safely search and apprehend the suspect or suspects.
Officials from Kennestone Hospital say they've received six patients from the shooting. Injuries range from minor to serious. Kennestone is a Level II Trauma Center.
A spokesperson from Fed-Ex released a statement saying:
"FedEx is aware of the situation. Our primary concern is the safety and well being of our team members, first responders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities." No word on the circumstances surrounding the shooting, at this time.

Does buckshot hang in an ammo belt like “Rambo”?
That employee also was quoted that he was “armed to the teeth”, and had an assault rifle and knife, despite the police saying it was a shotgun.
Possibly because he wasn't particularly familiar with firearms?
With hundreds of LE on scene, it took them THREE HOURS to find his body? Hmmm.....
Because he wasn't at the scene. They had to figure out who he was and go to his home.
Makes as much sense as "they have the right to maintain a safe and gun-free workplace"
But all is not lost, somehow the same idiots who came up with that policy will ignore the reality of what happened (twice now that I know of) and insist that employees remain disarmed. After all, one of the hallmarks of the liberal anti-gun mindset is repeatedly doing the same thing that caused the problem and expecting a different outcome.
If your an anti-gun bureaucrat or politician, you always say "We just didn't go far enough." when whatever idiotic policy that backfires is criticized, as if doing more of the wrong thing will somehow make it the right thing. I'd be willing to bet that the FedEx executives who determined the anti-gun policy will think the same thing.
MMS Mediot screaming headlines: “A package handler with an assault rifle and bullets strapped across his chest like Rambo
The reality was it was a shotgun loaded with birdshot.

“Just before 6 a.m., police said Geddy Kramer of Acworth drove his maroon Honda up to a security gate, stormed out and shot the security officer point blank. Authorities say Kramer then walked into the building and proceeded to shoot five more people. About three hours later, Kramer was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. ....
As bad as it was, police said it could have been worse. They said that the type of ammunition Kramer chose may be the reason there were no fatalities. He chose bird shot instead of buckshot or shotgun slugs. “.
All in riot and (mostly) SWAT gear they had in their vehicles...Waiting for the word that this was a Tea Party attack.../sarc
The MRAP’s will be there with additional support from the BLM and other federal government agencies (ATF, TSA, Dept. of Education, FEMA, Postal investigators) in their “gear” to seize the land this facility sits on and heard the cattle away for slaughter...
Maybe the price of beef will come down soon???
I dunno...
We need more gun-control!!! Drink less caffeine!!!
For several days they have been telling us the body of the gunman was found on a loading dock.
http://www.krem.com/news/257150441.html
....the body of the unidentified suspect was found in the loading dock area.
Now the story has been changed:
http://mdjonline.com/bookmark/25007515-Shooter-identified-in-FedEx-shooting-rampage
After reportedly shooting the guard, he entered the warehouse, where police say he shot another five individuals. After doing so, police say he committed suicide inside a trailer docked on the backside of the business.
This is eerily similar to another mass shooting episode at the Westfield Shopping Mall, Paramus, New Jersey on 11-4-13 by one Richard Shoop, 20. Like Geddy, his body would only be found hours later— in a construction trailer in a remote corner of the mall! And it was the FBI, not local cops, who found the body.
Wanna bet it was the FBI who found Geddy Kramer’s body at the FedEx site?
If the bodies are found in trailers, then there are no eyewitnesses who witnessed their ‘suicide.’ So who can say how these ‘shooters’ really died?

This picture is hilarious!!!
I’m not even looking at the guy in the corporate (fire warden) response “vest of authority”...
I’m looking at the no guns, weapon free zone, signs in the background...
This is the epitome of the problem at large...
And unfortunately (for both sides of the issue) this type of shooting incident will continue, regardless if these “victim zone” policies are removed or not...
“If the bodies are found in trailers, then there are no eyewitnesses who witnessed their suicide. So who can say how these shooters really died?”
Suicide by ________ fill in the blank. Suggestions might be cops, FBI, ATF, DEA, BLM, ????.
Does this still count as “going postal”, even though it happened at a private delivery service?
I guess you could make a case for that.
another question: is the FedEx facility a free-fire zone?
I’m presssed for time, and I don’t know
Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. I’m really pressed for
time right now. My guess was correct.
Leftards will be moaning about Kennnesaw. But this wasn’t
Kennesaw it was FedEx territory
as the TV character decades used to say:
*In-terest-ing*
back in 2007, the freemendo blog:
Lockdown, lockdown.
no, No, NO.
hmm, I’m going to rethink going to the entity formerly
known as Kinko’s. But there’s nothing else open
late night/early morning.
I missed those. TWANLOC, I fear.
Hundreds of police? Isn’t that a bit of overkill 4 a sitch like this? Jack booted thugs going ballistic
