LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has scheduled a press conference for Tuesday afternoon to discuss the leagues investigation of racist comments purportedly made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling during a recorded conversation with a female companion.

When’s enough going to be enough already? Where does it say you have to like blacks or any ethnic group for that matter? He didn’t make comments blacks were inferior and didn’t fire all the black players and have only whites. Why can’t the press say he’s bigoted? Everything is racist now. It’s whack!
He did not break any laws, but he is a pretty despicable human being, and the people he offended - his own family, the players, the coaches, the fans - will do anything legal to stick it to him.
It’s interesting that that there is great outrage over Sterling’s racism but none whatsoever about his blatant and unhidden adultery. We have fallen so far as a society. God save us.
“Another manufactured crisis. Much ado about nothing.
Especially if it were the reverse as weve seen in other ways.”
Got to remember that we live in a very “PC” dictated society.
You got that right, we are in trouble as a society. Lord have MERCY on us!
You know, this guy is definitely a scumbag. That being said, I notice that not one word is mentioned about the fact that this is an illegal taping. It seems to me that whoever taped this is liable to be prosecuted if Stirling wants to press it. I’m sure all the people speaking out about this (Lebron James, Michael Jordan et al..) would not want to be taped in the privacy of thier home without their consent. Fact is, we might hear some very interesting things come out of those conversations also...
Conspiracy outcome
Maybe the girlfriend will state she did not tape the call.
They point to the NSA as the entity taping the call, then releasing the tape in a blackmail attempt.
Makes me wonder how many Politicians, Bankers, people with “important” reputations and brands are compromised because of the NSA
“Burn the witch...burn the witch....burn the witch.....”
Meanwhile, the media’s silent on NBPP Shamir Shabazz’s kill all white people and their babies; Farrakhan’s call for exterminating Jews and white devils; Jeramiah Wright’s white hatred; Je$$e’s “hymie town;” and, the plague of black on white mob beatings and killings. It’s all whitey’s fault.
Where’s the investigation of the Knicks’ Larry Johnson calling for an all black basketball league? Waiting... Long wait.

Bill Clinton is worshipped in liberal circles, despite being impeached for lying about adultery.
Racism is simply wrong, period:

Anything to take the coverage off healthcare, Ukraine, Common Core, inner city war zones, and John Kerry’s apartheid comment.
Wheres the investigation of the Knicks Larry Johnson calling for an all black basketball league? Waiting... Long wait.
Blacks to form their own league? What, to be broadcast on BET?
News media spent more time covering this than the tornados that destroyed multiple towns and killed 17 people on Sunday
Indeed and once again the blatant double standard of race and so called ‘racism’.
I'm not so sure. Are there those looking for all-black ownership and leadship in the NBA?
Mark Cuban (God bless him) said this to an interviewer (paraphrasing) "It's a slippery slope when we use what people say or think in the privacy of their homes against them". Sometimes it sounds like Cuban might be a freeper.
And what about the double standard? Are there sports owners and spokesmen who listen to rap music which suggests violence against women and/or blacks? Enabling those suggestions of violence is far worse than having personal opinions many of us find reprehensible. And where's the outrage about the numbers of shootings and deaths on Chicago's mean streets this weekend? And what about the NAACP withdrawing Sterling's second humanitarian award? Don't actions speak louder than words any more?
I got disgusted with professional basketball quite awhile ago. Now I don't think I'd go to a game even if handed a free ticket.
