I have always supported Palin, but her attacking Christianity and saying what she did put her in league with secular leftists. I hope she rethinks this direction.

So how did Palin attack Christianity?

You mean the quip about “baptizing” terrorists?

I aver this needs to be viewed in the context of accusations that the “religious Right” is wanting to “impose Christianity on the world by force.” Which it is not, or at least ought not, because that is never how the kingdom of God advances. She’s kidding about “baptism” here, as though it needed spelling out. It does not cease to mean what it always meant.

So you never heard of a baptism of fire? Sheesh.

Nothing she said was sacrilegious unless you’re completely humorless.

"...attacking Christianity and saying what she did..."

Disagree.
The term "baptism", in Christian parlance means an outward sign of an inward grace, but in generic terms simply means: "a trying or purifying experience or initiation", (like "baptism under fire").
I think Sarah Palin knows the difference, and most of us should, too.

I support her politics also, but this woman’s never been ready for “prime time” and never will be. Way to much vanity and cult following.

Good, then don’t vote for someone who will let every American have the freedom to worship (or not worship) as they wish.

When we become a Communist state you will certainly regret the choices you made based upon your beliefs...for freedom of speech and religion will be gone.

Hmmm. Let’s see...first you say “I’ve always supported ____, but”

Then you make a false statement about her.

Finally, you connect/compare her with an undesirable group.

Nice try at Alinskyism 101. Rule #12? No thanks. Take that tactic to DU.

When was the last time you got offended when someone said baptize by fire? Perhaps that doesn’t count since Sarah hasn’t said it yet for you to get offended!

“I hope she rethinks this direction.”

It’s you who needs to rethink a few things. What you state here is absurd.

Bogus supposition. She did not attack Christianity and you know it. So, why post it?

How in the hell did Sarah Palin attack Christianity? Have you ever heard of figurative language or did you skip your American Literature classes?
