Knicks executive and former player Larry Johnson had a decidedly different but still strong reaction to the racially insensitive remarks Clippers owner Donald Sterling is alleged to have made.
On Saturday night, Johnson tweeted: “Black people your Focusing on the wrong thing. We should be focusing on having our own, Own team own League! To For Self!!’’

Go ahead. See how much support you have. I have not been able to watch professional basketball for years. All they do is trade baskets and fight. The ‘worm’ has turned and it would seem that some famous blacks would rather segregate again. Obama has made race relations in this country SO MUCH WORSE!!

Up until the 1940s...there were white teams and there were black teams.
I am not old enough to remember this so I had to “look it up”..
the guy who’s crowing about the need for a black league may not be very educated about his sport of choice.
Im sure he reads here...all the time...though...
