I haven’t heard a thing about this Maine independence movement until a few weeks ago while reading a thread here on Free Republic.
A freeper “Republic of Maine” has posted a number of times about a ballot initiative here in Maine in which Maine will secede from the Union and form a republic. The ballot question is supposedly slated for June, 2018. Again, outside of FR, I’ve heard nothing about this “movement.”
