Though there are important differences in the the flavors of UKIP and the Tea Party in the US, both groups represent a pro market, pro entrepreneur, deeply middle class, anti centralized government, and anti-establishment perspective. Both represent a reemergence of classical liberalism (with exceptions on both sides) on a large scale.

I believe a well funded third party could make the Republican Party extinct. The rinos would head to the dems where they belong, and a patriotic party would capture the old GOP and a lot of independents.

Indeed it could. It is telling that the post Reagan GOP never made an effort to keep the Reagan Democrats on board. Now, they are actively snubbing the conservative base, with Jeb Bush and Boehner as only the most recent examples of an open animosity for two years now.
The GOP will never again permit significant conservative ascent.
Oh yes! That is the first time I ever heard him. An outstanding frontal assault on the rot that is the EU. I say again, he is a game changer. I wish we had a counterpart.

Yes! The shine of the 0bama Regime is fading fast for the blue collar working class & those who want a job. Conservative candidates should win in primaries vs RINOs and elections vs RATs if they concentrate their campaign on economic and jobs issues.
The RINO wing of the GOP has forgotten its roots and will die on the vine, thanks to The 0bamanation. That's my fervent hope and prayer.
The biggest problem conservatives have is the Republican hereditary class which is also very corporatist in nature. They like their special connections. They like getting cheap immigrant labor on which they can make fortunes not just employing those immigrants but also in driving done the wages of those American citizens they employ. They like not having to truly invest in developing onshore resources when they can simply take advantage of individuals educated at a fraction of the cost required in the US in places like the Philippines. Its a matter of the people at the top like it there and while they talk about the “love” involved in amnesty what they really love is keeping their power and what better way to do that than to add more third worlders who have been raised to think and act like serfs?
“Nigel Farage is the greatest leader and speaker the people of Britain have seen since Thatcher.”
Arguably better, but the verdict will be in the results. If Farage can continue to do what he’s doing and not collapse in some way (which seems to happen more than it doesn’t), he likely will accomplish EVEN MORE than Thatcher, a woman I will ALWAYS admire.
I agree. It’s clearly working with UKIP, and it would be far easier here.
And before that, Enoch Powell.
We need a second party, first.
