A United State Marine who goes by the name of Charlie Delta wrote an open letter defending Cliven Bundy ‘racist’ comments -- and the Marine is black.

Mr. Delta begins by praising Bundy for being a charismatic family man and definitely not a racist. He goes so far as to agree with Bundy’s statements and says that

The MSM must be scrambling to counter their foiled attempt to slander and misrepresent Mr. Bundy. I'm certain more individuals such as CD will step forward in Bundy's defense.

He doesn’t need to be defended. The BLM is the “bad guy” in this story. Let the progressives defend them.

The NYT typically misrepresented Mr. Bundy, but their smear campaign is backfiring due-in part-to the support expressed by individuals such as CD.

There's two black veterans who have been there and who both have spoken up for Cliven Bundy. Here's the videos and transcripts of what both have had to say:

The man in the above YouTube video is named Jason Bullock. He is a is a six-year Army veteran who is out in Nevada and has volunteered to serve as one of Cliven Bundy's bodyguards.

As you can see, Jason Bullock is also a black American.

That's what he had to say about Cliven Bundy, early this week, after Bundy's remarks were widly reported, and when CNN interviewed Bullock and asked him if Cliven Bundy's remarks had offended him.

"No, not at all. Mr. Bundy is not a racist.

"Ever since I've been here, he's treated me with nothing but hospitality. He's pretty much treating me just like his own family.

"I would take a bullet for that man if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather. I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy, I have a really good feeling about him and I'm a pretty good judge of character."

The media distorts information to the point of social division. Above is a photo of myself and the resilient, often charismatic, and maybe not so tactful Cliven Bundy. He’s a cowboy and a helluva family man, not an orator.

One thing he definitely isn’t – a racist. I found his comments to not only be NOT racist, but his own view of his experiences. Who the heck are we to determine another man’s perspective on the world around him?! Just because Picasso’s view of the world was abstract, does it negate the fact that his art was genuine?

Furthermore, if you take the time to do your own research, you’ll find that his statements about some black Americans actually hold weight. He posed a hypothetical question. He said, “I wonder IF” … Hell, I’m black and I often wonder about the same about the decline of the black family.

Bottom line is that we are all slaves in this waning republic, no matter our skin color. Mr. Bundy could have used any racial demographic as an example: Native Americans on reservations, whites in trailer parks, etc. He noticed the crippling effects of receiving government “assistance” and the long term result of accepting handouts.

It’s not progress at all. I challenge Sean Hannity, Rand Paul, and others to read my comment and reconsider their position in this matter. Individual liberties are at stake here, yours and mine. THAT is the issue.

Don’t let the liberal media and ignoramuses like Glenn Beck and that weasel Harry Reid make you lose sight of the real issue here: The federal government is a burgeoning behemoth and a bully on a once constitutional playground.I sincerely hope you real patriots out there who can see through the smoke.

These testimonials, from black Americans who know Cliven Bundy personally, and who have been to his home, speak for themselves. All the rush to judgement about this man, is just that. He asked a legitimate question about the impact of the social welfare/subsidy programs on American citizens...and it is an important question. He did not phrase it well...and the comparison to slavery in the south does not hold. So, what? So he is not an orator. So his speech is not eloquent.

Perhaps Cliven Bundy has what some may call a big wart on him. Again, so what? We all do.

That does not make him a racist, or a bigot in the least, despite what Bill OReilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and others may think or say. Those people have raitings and a lot of money riding on how they respond and what people think about their words...Cliven Bundy spoke straight...as best he could, and his underlying point is completely valid. And those two black veterans who know him, agree and stand by him. And one of those men feels so strongly about it, that he, a black US Army veteran, would take a bullet for the man. That carries a WHOLE lot more weight with me.

I have a deep respect for Ambassador Keyes. He’s a great orator, highly intelligent, and a man of faith.

The NYT won’t be thrilled about this.

I read articles by them that made Catholics, and non-Catholics alike, angry at some Catholic leaders.

Then when the truth comes out, it’s just the opposite of what the NYTimes claims. WHEN will people stop believing them?

The comparison doesn't hold because it is hyperbole. By msm rules, the left is allowed to use hyperbole, we are not.

One of my siblings best friend is a high ranking retired Marine. A black man. His son followed in his daddy’s footsteps. Became a decorated Marine fairly early on in his career. The son died while on his second(?) tour of duty. My heart breaks for the family once again as I type this. He did his family as well as our country proud.

Anyone knows what Mr. Bundy was trying to say and in a politically correct world, didn’t say it well. He was trying to point out the plight of black people, as a whole, under liberal left government policy. I doubt if any of us like Pimps..However, if you think about what has happened to our black people under this government after Reagan, you will see a similar pattern. Woo them and enslave them with the false promise of love and protection and then punish them if they begin to understand what is being done to them and turn away from their enslavement to self-reliance, where they do not turn their minds and bodies completely over to enriching the Pimp and keeping him in power. With education, more and more black people, I think, are realizing this and are refusing to turn over their minds, their lives and their future over to the machine.

You are correct about O’reilly. He was almost giddy when Mr. Bundy was attacked by the left wing media..He was patting himself on the back and saying, “I told you so!” I am a person who DVRs O’Reilly so that I can fast forward through his self admiration and his ad to himself at the end of The Factor. I don’t pursue Beck’s product anymore but I do like Shawn Hannity..I didn’t see what he said but it sounds like he jumped on the band wagon, too. Mr. Bundy is a country person and didn’t know exactly how to express his opinion to a vicious, put words into your mouth, media, out to get him from the get go, because they do not like the self-reliance being shown from him and his supporters. Dictators move quickly to nip that kind of thing in the bud. They desperately wanted to shift the focus to him from the thuggish behavior of the federal agents sent there to threaten him, Saul Alinsky style. I don’t see the American people eager to jump on that band wagon this time..Is this a turning point because so many are seeing what Obamacare is and so many have been persecuted by the IRS and the EPA already. Have enough Americans “heard the lion and seen the owl,” to turn around this push for totalitarianism? We shall see.
