His 1765 noob Stamp Act protests to the House of Burgesses?

He provided the spark of revolution.

My political daydream is for Mike Lee or Ted Cruz to make a similar speech to Obama’s rubber stamp senate. They make the case for repeal of the 17th Amendment.

The representatives were disbanded by Virginia Governor and so they had their meeting 150 miles inland, they didn't want to get caught & hung. Many of them thought Henry was a nut case of sorts, said he was talking treason and such. Henry shamed and cajoled them enough they had to support him. One person's accomplishment in front of his peers, good stuff for sure. The tape is worth the 20 bucks, heck if I didn't live along the Yukon, I'd see the re-enactment myself at the church where the meeting was held.

It was so inspiring to those there, they corresponded over the following year about the event and it's impact. They knew even back then, it was a turning point and all the letters have contributed to the historical record. Good stuff. Even my local Indian Friends watched it. Funny thing is that the Indians stand up to the Feds more than any Whites do nowadays; they consider the Feds intrusions an affront to their culture, rights, and world view. The Feds somewhat let them alone too, rather than stir them all up, ha.
