She is a trophy wife. She exists to look good at public functions. That’s it. Totally common for most dems in power. And some Repubs as well.
As long as she plays her paid part, they don’t care who she does. They aren’t sleeping with her.
Okay, maybe not “sleeping”. But if you read his comments, it appeared (to me, anyway) he assumes they are doing “it”, and does not care as long as she doesn’t embarrass him.
She's not his wife, she's his girlfriend. He was having what he thought was a private conversation with her, which got secretly recorded by some undisclosed person, and released to the public.
Somebody wanted to damage him.
