That’s twice now you have suggested the LEO should have gone and hidden in the car. I’m still not defending shooting a dog in the back of the head, but to go get in the car?

You gotta be kidding me.

Why not get back in the car. Is there some urgent need for him to get out of the car in the first place with a loose dog in plain sight?

Did things work out well for him, the owner or the dog after he got out of the car and waited for the dog to charge him?

Please explain why you think that the deputy needed to rush to the scene of a burglary that was hours old? After all the deputy arrived 2 ½ hours after the call reporting the burglary. So how many hours head start did the criminals already have?

Why? Is it beneath the dignity of cops to set in a car ‘til the resident controls his dog?
