What Cliven Bundy Knows About “The Negro”
Slate ^ | April 27, 2014 | By Jamelle Bouie

Posted on 04/27/2014 10:02:19 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy is still a cause célèbre for the right-wing, drawing praise from Tea Party activists, Republican politicians, and conservative media outlets. Kevin Williamson of National Review called him a “dissident” like Mohandas Gandhi or Henry David Thoreau, Nevada Sen. Dean Heller hailed him as a “patriot,” and Sean Hannity has praised him as somebody that’s “willing to fight.”

This was bad enough as an instance of conservative recklessness when Bundy was just a lawless rancher backed by armed militamen. It’s even worse now that we know that Bundy is full of racist bones. Here he is, as quoted by the New York Times, speaking to a public gathering of supporters:

~~snip~~

As a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor in Virginia, E.W. Jackson told his supporters that “slavery did not destroy the black family … government did that,” and last year, FreedomWorks—a Tea Party group—released a documentary called Runaway Slave, which details the “Democratic plantation” of welfare and entitlement benefits, used to lure African-Americans away from the Republican Party. And key to the narrative is the idea that these benefits ruined black families, succeeding where slavery failed.

~~snip~~

In short, the only difference between Bundy and a whole host of conservatives is that the renegade rancher isn't sophisticated enough to couch his nonsense in soundbites and euphemism. Or, if Bundy has anything to say about "the negro," he learned it from the conservative movement.

The Bundy issue has nothing whatsoever to do with race other than the left is trying to make it so.

Beyond that, I would posit that the issue has nothing whatsoever to do with democrats vs republicans, or even republicans vs conservatives. Yet pundits from both sides are trying to make it so.

Can anyone tell me if Cliven Bundy is even registered to vote? If so, is he R, D or I? Who did he vote for in 2012? 2008? Might he have ever cast a vote for Obozo?

I don't know, and it doesn't matter to me because that's not the issue anymore than racism is. The Constitution is for ALL Americans. What the BLM is doing in Clark County, Nevada is WRONG and we must stand against their actions. Period.

Because racism and poverty is a cottage industry funded and operated solely by government and the poor people are just cannon fodder in their never ending war against Christianity, free-enterprise, freedom.

Government is the problem.

Moral and fiscal issues would be reduced incredibly if government was reduced to allow people to live by Christian ethics. The government now thwarts Christian charity and Christian morality (the right, for example, of a landlord to expressly reject a gay homosexual couple in an apartment complex of families -- government OUTLAWS that moral act -- to an amoral result in the cottage industry, that's exactly what it is! SOLELY the "product" of government. The right direction is the one that first and foremost views reduction of government as the AUTOMATIC solution to any ailment, fiscal AND social.

Simple as Pavlov. Ring the bell, give a treat. Demokkrats. Make a promise, give a treat. Before long the dependent become, well, dependent and can no longer take care of themselves. Or at least have the drive/why bother factor removed.

If government welfare and freebies based on a person's income were tossed out the window in general principle in American business was freed to pursue food and energy production, manufacturing, high tech, and all manner of things, CHRISTIAN CHARITY once again would resume the job of caring for the poor. When capitalism fires up prosperous, industrious commerce, Christians, who donate more to charity than anyone, give likewise. Christian charity teaches an ethic, it is moral, those receiving it understand the debt and feel it.

Government charity, which Christians are forced to fund, is on the other hand purely amoral. It yields evil anti-Christian results.

Why should this be a surprize ? Look what the propagandizers did to some poor working stiff white hispanic who was as dark as his assailant who’s fate was decided on by utterances from the “Bully Pulpit”.

Look we need to define a Freeman vs a Slave...really we do need to truly define these words

A Freeman supports himself and his family with his own work and all his work is his to bargain with others with...

A Slave is provided for if he does what he is told..his work he does and what he receive are disconnected and is controlled by a master.. you work is not yours and your are provided for by your master if you comply..and no matter how well you are provided for your still a slaver to to that master that doles out your portion.

Patronage, however benevolent, is still bondage.

This was all at the behest of the regime, orders carried out by a radical homosexual reporter, tapes doctored and distributed by the NYSlimes and Media Matters.

Mr Bundy was too sympathetic and had too much support, hence he had to be destroyed.

Rules for Radicals

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

You see how quick Faux News, especially Hannity, threw Bundy under the bus. Hypocrites.
