Every other week in the LA Crimes biz section there is an ad announcing some award Sterling has received or some award dinner he will be the honoree at. Today there was one.

He pays for the ads.

He owns every other high rise apartment/condo building west of downtown LA and he does spread some $$$$ around the community, but he’s very self-aggrandizing.

As far as I know he is still married to Shelly. The tape was done by his ex-girlfriend. Can’t tell the players without a scorecard.

He has held the clippers back forever and now his story is dominating their first round of the playoffs.

Interesting to see how they do today. perhaps the experience of Rivers and Paul can get them past this.

I like Rivers, but the referees are the MVP of the series for the Clippers. They have been outrageous in every game.

I’ve watched pro B-Ball since the early 60s and I think in addition to preference for star players, some teams get a nod during the play-offs. For decades the accusations were flying thatch league wanted NY, LA or Boston in the finals.

I coached and reffed some, and I don’t see how you can fix a game, but you can spread calls throughout a game and give some points to one ten or the other.

http://dailycaller.com/2014/04/26/race-hate-spewing-clippers-owner-is-democratic-donor/

According to records obtained by the independent data research tool Littlesis.org – maintained by the Public Accountability Initiative – the owner of the LA Clippers embroiled in controversy has only donated to Democratic candidates.

Between 1990 and 1992 Donald Sterling made a $2,000 donations to the former New Jersey Senator Bill Bradley, a $1000 donation to current Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy, as well as a $1000 donation to the recalled former governor of California Gray Davis. Despite having a 100% track record of donating to Democrats, Littlesis.org has no records of him donating to either of President Barack Obama’s election campaigns.

It is, but thay has no relevance to this case. This was a voicemail Sterling voluntarily left her.

It's a recording of a conversation between him and the girlfriend. How can that be a voicemail?
