It is not a bad analogy, given the hollow nature of the implicit threat of such a proclamation. This is clearly an invitation for the West to get involved, and not a threat of Ukrainian response. So, yes, it is roughly similar to Mommy he is touching me.
I disagree. The threat isn't "hollow". Russia has already taken one oblast by force and they are currently repeating the process in at least two additional oblasts. That's hardly an example of a "Mommy he's touching me" kids game.
It's an example of a country who's sovereignty is being attacked, who is weak and needs help, and who is describing a serious, dangerous real life problem.
And yet calling Ukraine weak isn’t insulting? Nice try, Obama.
