MILITIA TO BLM: ‘WE ARE PREPARED TO USE DEADLY FORCE’
Breitbart ^ | April 24, 2014 | By Bob Price

Posted on 04/25/2014 2:43:35 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

One of the militia groups who joined the effort to “protect” the Bundy family and their ranch from the armed Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rangers admitted they are prepared to use deadly force in self-defense in Nevada or Texas. Several militia groups have joined ranks to provide “protection” to keep the BLM from taking property from the Bundy Ranch, most of which operates on federally owned land.

Scott Shaw, co-founder of the Oklahoma Volunteer Militia says he is just an average American who goes to work every day and pays his taxes. He described his militia members as “every-day citizens ...We just have a strong conviction for freedom and liberty and upholding the Constitution. We are just here in case our court system fails us and we have to stand up to the federal government.”

In talking about the armed force of BLM rangers, Shaw described it as questionable. “If you’re there to get your money back that [Cliven Bundy] allegedly owes you, there are several ways you can do that in a court of law. You can put a lien on his property; you can put a lien on his cattle. If it truly was about getting back the back fees, why did [the BLM] take the cattle, or round the cattle up, which are the asset you’re going to sell--why would you kill several of those?” Recent reports revealed several cattle that were killed allegedly by the BLM during the standoff earlier this month.

Shaw affirmed that his militia members who deployed to Nevada were armed with a variety of military style weapons including AR-15s, AK-47s and others. They also include precision shooting firearms like deer hunting rifles and other military surplus items...

Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder led the Waco 'cover up' by removing U.S.Attorney James W. Blagg from the 'Waco investigation'.

Cover-Up

There are many rumors that Hillary Clinton gave the order to 'move on Waco'.She was impatient with the Waco standoff, it was dominating the headlines and preventing the administration from moving forward with their health care reform.

It's said that she pressured Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster and Webb Hubbell to expedite a forceful resolution to the standoff.

Linda Tripp, a former White House aide, suggested on the Larry King show that Hillary told Vince Foster to 'move forward' on the Branch Davidian compound - resulting in a military style attack.

"Give me a reason not to do this", Janet Reno is said to have begged.

Special Forces expert and Waco investigator, Steve Barry claimed that Hillaryset up a 'crisis center' in the White House to deal with Waco. Vince Foster served with her and was later said to be horrified at the carnage at Waco - for which they were responsible.

Another Waco investigator, T.March Bell said in a 1999 documentary, "Waco", that they received anonymous phone calls from the Justice Department managers and attorneys, who believed that the pressure to proceed came from Hillary Clinton.

Vince Foster was found dead in Ft.Marcy Park three months later from a gun shot to the head. Journalist Ambrose Eveans-Pritchard maintains that Foster had been drafting a letter involving Waco on the very day of his death...

The fact you are repeating is completely irrelevant in this situation. You have been told that over and over again, and still you keep on.

Your record is stuck.

I am of the opinion that beyond these statements made by these “militia” types are fine, to a point...

I believe the government understands our position, therefore it is un-necessary to re-iterate our capabilities publically anymore...

Giving the media “more” info our your weaponry only invites negative public opinion from the ignorant, low-information voters, who could care less beyond the 30 second sound bite...

I would not advertise where your line in the sand is to these entities, it gives them too much wiggle room to exploit, and use against forces we might very well be a part of in the future...

Keeping them doubtful of their survival in the future, when they are told to deploy, is a powerful weapon in and of itself...

Spouting off like this to the media is like shooting and taking lives first...No one will win the court of public opinion if you are the one to shoot first...And if the general public is to be on our side, sympathy will have to be the emotion that turns in our favor with the public that does not engage these issues like we do, or would do...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for resisting...I can hold my own...

With the times the way they are, our side will unfortunately have to take the first bloody nose in ANY violent incident...

Then the gloves will certainly come off at that point...

Your government is hedging its bets that we do not have the courage to take it to that point...That will be a very serious under-estimation on their part...

I would caution folks to be very cool about their intentions, capabilities, resolve, “what you got” inventory, and be very careful about this on a public forum...

Jim knows this as well as I and many others do, not every FReeper (participant) is on our side on this website...

If the times are getting very tenuous, volatile, then maybe its time to be cool, be very reserved about those things I mentioned above, and always keep in mind that we are all being watched above and beyond what you might think the government is capable of doing...

As much as they say they will not fire, unless fired upon...That is the standard line of BS, we’ve heard for years...They are already provoking the citizens of this country...Those of us here who pay attention, and do not live or die by everything they see coming from any one source of information...

We got to be cooler than they are...Let them be the ones to screw up first, before we respond in kind...

We are better people than the ones driving this situation to the brink, and we will ALWAYS have the last word, or something more tangible, with considerable weight, and velocity...;-)

Liberals often dismiss facts as being irrelevant because it does not fit their narrative and world view. There is not room for the truth and facts within their echo chamber.

The wheels are coming off the Hope and Change Express and many Americans are flat out ignorant of what is about to happen to us and the rest of the world in the near future.

The BLM had full intentions of putting the Bundys in the same holes they put the cows they slaughtered. If it had not been for the crowd [witnesses]that had gathered there, they would have. And if it had not been for the internet, the crowd [witnesses] would not have been there.

Why no due process for Bundy, only BLM executive “execution?”

Sounds like Bundy’s rights of due process have been disregarded, since this is a court based proceeding.

Execution of federal court orders is generally in the hands of US Marshals, or local County Sheriffs. Why was due process not observed?

Again with the name calling. Also a favorite method used by the left - when they can’t refute facts.

You are correct, but it is not just “Political Correctness”, but the knee-jerk, nearly Pavlovian reaction that the pundits and the public have been conditioned to have when any of the proscribed terms is mentioned. Someone says “Frau Blucher” and the horses whinny—just out the wrong end.

Good quote and thanks for posting.

But, reading it, and assuming it is accurate after being passed down through 200+ years, it almost seems the context must be wrong because we know that what our forefathers feared most was “government” and particularly “runaway government”. Indeed, the primary purpose of the Second Ammendment, most of us feel, is to stand up to the government and, in times like Bunkerville, “NOT obey executive Power”.

Perhaps John Adams and Thomas Jefferson weren’t of one mind on this issue.

In our country, we are blessed with the principle that martial power and the force of law are both under the authority of a duly-elected civilian authority.

************************************************************

There are a lot of points in your well written and thoughtful post that I agree with. And, there are several that I don’t. But, appreciating that really long posts tend to not be read by anybody on FR, and that I could write a book about your post, I am going to limit my comment to what appears to be the “central theme” of it as expressed in your opening sentence that I have cut and pasted above for everybody’s easy reference.

So, again with all due respect, history is clear I think that “the boys” showed up in Concord and Bunkerville with their guns because, in their minds, “duly elected authority” had become “corrupted” (Reid, Obama, the Nevada State Governor, the local Sheriff, the courts) and a plain ole citizen (Bundy) needed protecting from them and a federal government with a murderous history (Ruby Ridge and Waco).

Therefore, if your central premise of never acting without the permission of “duly elected authority” HELD FAST throughout history, “the boys” at Concord and Bunkerville would have stayed home, and little things like the Civil War abolishing slavery (which “duly elected authority” supported with armed force) and Selma, Alabama violence (initiated by”duly elected authority” using armed force) and many other “incidents” throughout our history just would not have occurred and there indeed would not have been a United States of America.

No sir, I think most of us at FR agree that “duly elected authority”, and the lawlessness it practices daily these days through unelected bureaucrats, spewing out unconstitutional “regulation” and then calling it “law” is what this growing Second Revolution is all about. Oh, and never mind a lifetime political class in DC, and it’s supporting cast of crook lobbyists, that on the whole is every bit as corrupted as third world states like Liberia.

Revolutions are not pretty and neat and that is what we are seeing and will see more and more of in these early days of the Second American Revolution.
