“Maybe I sinned and maybe I need to ask forgiveness. Maybe I don’t know what I actually said,” Bundy said Friday, when asked to defend his opinion that black Americans would be better off as slaves.
“I took this boot off so I wouldn’t put my foot in my mouth with the boot on,” he told CNN’s Chris Cuomo, suggesting he was ready to back down and strike a more conciliatory tone.
But that hope was short-lived as Bundy soon dived in to criticize people for being too sensitive.

CNN is losing viewers BUT did you notice the coverage of this by all the other news outlets?

It’s like a slow motion train wreck at this point. With leftist clowns (and the sheeple) perception is reality. He needs to realize that the people he’s talking to are NOT his friends, and they DO have an agenda that opposes rebellion against their “god,” the federal government, in any way.

Let it go. It’s become tiresome to talk about it. He’d better concentrate on his cattle and what the Fed will do to him. I can’t figure out how this became a social issue which has nothing to with his ranch.

Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.
“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”
Mr. Bundy is a plain spoken man who tells it like it is....he can’t compete with our duplicitous politicians and reporters....but I repeat myself..............
Bundy’s kids need to keep dear old dad away from the microphones .
I could hear , from the first moment that I heard him speaking on video a few weeks ago that this was NOT a talented speaker . Some people ramble , some people use terrible grammar and appear as redneck boobs .
The kids on the other hand seemed forthright, articulate
and lucid , especially his daughters .
That family needs to make a statement about their dad ;
“he been under tremendous pressure lately” and then retire him away from the mics altogether . The issue should NOT be about old Gliven , who has spent a long lifetime under the hot sun . He needs to get that too . Sorry sir, NOT about you . Step aside and let clearer minds advance the cause ,
and skip the fuzzy ‘clarifications’ . Your are only digging the hole deeper .
