The whole accretion/erosion theory used to determine those borders is pure horsesh*t. If I own 100K square feet, then I own 100k square feet. If a river borders my property and over time changes course to flow farther toward my property, then I own more river because it’s within my 100k square feet. If it changes course to flow farther away from my property, then I own less of the river. Either way, I own 100k square feet of land, period. That’s how it should be.

I triple-dog dare the BLM to take land from Texas citizens. I’m just itchin’ to kick their tyrannical asses. It ain’t big talk from behind a keyboard either. I’m past ready, willing, and able. I’m at “Go ahead. Make my day, punks.”

Exactly. There are two places here in Iowa where Iowa is on the OTHER side of the river, because the river has moved.

Apparently, supposedly the BLM controls the land where the river is or was, or something. I’ve seen the claim but no proof. I don’t know any other state where this is true. Borders between the states are state issues, where do the Feds figure into this?
