Young people should be scooped up and embraced by our side.

Even if they acted dumb.

This is an OPPORTUNITY.

I fear for young and ambitious kids. They are going to have it tough. Any more, being rich and ambitious is detested and Obamacare is going to kill them financially.

A person can't afford a house when that person is forced to buy a crappy $15,000 healthcare plan. I'd opt out and pay the fine.

And Democrats have a lot of other oppressive taxes planned, ie a carbon tax. I can only get worse.

If they’re not tied down with a house, they can certainly relocate very easily. They’d likely have a job in a day in a number of locales. Might be North Dakota but hey, you do what you’ve got to do.

No job, no house, no kids.

They're too busy yakking, texting and sexting on their "smart" phones to have a job, a house and kids. Standing in line waiting for the newest "smart" phone to come out takes up a lot of time. "Trophy" wives and husbands are out. "Trophy" phones are in. They want to make sure that they are the first in their "circle" to have one.

Brian Alunan need to pick up some shifts bussing or waiting tables at Outback or selling shoes at Footlocker and get the F out of the house. Parents of the millennials are enabling all this. There may not be many resume enhancing job opportunities, but at least if you can get out and gain experience in managing responsibilities, you can get a leg up on the competition. This guy is less hirable than someone graduating in May. He hasn’t had a responsible regiment in at least 7 years. Jobs exist, they are just jobs that many millennials feel like they are “above”. I worked at Dillards for a year and at 7 Eleven for 2 years before I found a “real” job. Time to man up.

Many millennials graduated from high school or college
duringthe Great Recession and had trouble finding work.

OH! I see; it's just a Great Recession now,
Not a Great Depression

Depression is when you lose yours"..

There is a lot more to searching for a job than simply submitting online applications. I think many in the iPhone generation do not realize that.

Also, there is little mention of what these kids studied if they are college graduates. Easy majors (for example, psychology) are not sought after by employers. Business majors are a dime a dozen, so a C-average is not going to get you a job when there are a dozen other applicants with stronger GPAs.

What these kids of the participation trophy generation have not learned is there is a direct correlation between hard work and results.
