Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal (R) signed into law Wednesday a pro-gun package that groups on both sides of the gun control debate describe as exceptional.
The National Rifle Association calls it the most comprehensive pro-gun bill in state history. Americans for Responsible Solutions, the gun control group founded by shooting victim and former congresswoman Gabby Giffords (D-Ariz.), calls it the most extreme gun bill in America.

If Gabby’s group hates it, I LOVE IT!
“What Georgias expansive new pro-gun law does
...”
Puts the wind up Gabby Giffords - that’s enough for me.
The database provisions are particularly farsighted.
Blood in the streets! Wild West mentality! Armed crackers everywhere! Women, gays & minorities hardest hit!
;^)
“Lamar Norton, head of the Georgia Municipal Association, said the package would impose unnecessary costs on Georgias cities and opens them and other local governments up to frivolous litigation.
There would be litigation only if a local government chooses to break the law. Therefore it’s VERY easy to avoid “frivolous” litigation: don’t break the law!
GA FReeper ping. More Leftist hand-wringing over HB60, this time from the WAAAAAAAAA Post.
These brainiacs still don’t understand that gun-free victim zones are an abject failure, and about all this law does is make it more likely someone law abiding might have a gun in a bad situation.
Well, for sure she couldn't say that about the libs' and socialists' favorite U. S. state, Vermont, because Vermont has even fewer restrictions on guns than Georgia -- fewer restrictions in fact than ANY other state except maybe Alaska.
Meanwhile, probably the last time anybody saw blood on the streets of Vermont was when the Confederates pulled off that Civil War raid on the bank in St. Albans!
Awww c’mon!
We can do better - we can go “full Constitutional” carry! Open, concealed, anywhere, no license!
