Sen. Rand Paul distanced himself Thursday from Cliven Bundys recent remarks on race, roughly a week after the likely 2016 presidential contender knocked the way the federal government has handled the land dispute with the defiant rancher.
Cliven Bundys remarks on race are offensive and I wholeheartedly disagree with him, Mr. Paul, Kentucky Republican, said via Twitter.

Everyone needs to be clear on roles. Bundy is a victim and NOT a sppkesman. What he thinks about any subject is irrelevant and the left will exploit this to put us on the defense.
To: maggief
Another knee jerk retreat from a guy who appears more and more like an entrenched politician with no core beliefs.
The left is out to destroy Bundy and they will trench up everything they can to do it.
Did Bundy even say what he is supposed to have said? The NYT says they “overheard it”. Then the MSM ran with it. Now cowards like Rand Paul are jumping all over themselves to distance themselves from Bundy and his supporters and the cause they represent.
Cowards. All of them.

If they stopped supporting him because of these misquoted words, then they were looking for a reason to stop. What a bunk! The govt stole cattle and land and people stop supporting him because he said something not politically correct about blacks???? You are either not telling the truth or you know a bunch of two faced hacks.
and besides, nothing he said is untrue, it’s just not PC.

Unless Bundy’s conversation was recorded, I don't see how the reporter was able to remember every word he said and put them in the correct context. Maybe the reporter was filling in the blanks.
To: maggief
Bundy’s remarks were not racist.
He was calling out the poverty pimping that has kept too many “on the plantation.”
Rand Paul went cheap on this; shame on him.

This is not about supporting Bundy.
It is about opposing government overreach.

That is what I am wondering. The 35 blacks shooting each other in Chicago two weeks ago, 46 this past weekend. What was he asked if, he even said it since it is the NYT.

Where is the recording? Where is the witnesses? Where is there anything other then a NYT FAKE hit piece playing the race card to smear a good a good American.
They failed with the “war-on-women” card to smear him, now its a fake up story to push the race card. Even if it were true, which there is evidence its not, the race card is dead.

The MSM is putting works in Bundy's mouth.
He never stated "Black were better off being slaves"
He asks if Blacks are better off being slaves to government subsidies, better off with broken families and no work ethic.
You see it every day, Black Inner City women having illegitimate babies, no idea who the baby daddy is, all for a gov'ment check. ...young Black Men killing one another in the Inner City streets.
The sooner Obama, Holder and CBC admit this damning truth the better off Inner City Blacks will become.
Who's the real coward that will not address the Inner City culture Mr. Holder!
To: maggief
So what?
Mr Bundy is fully entitled to his opinion.

Source; The NYT so I take most of the story with a grain of salt. Or a large bowl of salt.
I do find it interesting that some of us predicted at the start of this that Clive Bundy would be called a racist before they finally arrived at the Final Solution.

And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And Ive often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didnt get no more freedom. They got less freedom.
Here is what they heard....
"Blah blah blah blah 'Negro' blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah 'slaves, picking cotton'"

Bingo. My own suspicion is that the
Times placed these words in his mouth at the request of the federal government to create a wave of revulsion. This way, when DHS goes in with drones and helicopter gunships and slaughters the Bundys and their supporters, there will be no uprising, no civil war, but a passive acquiescence that he and his supporters got what they deserved. The deaths among the DHS kill teams will be enough to justify a crackdown on gun ownership, militias and dissent.
This is government disinformation.

It is a non-issue anymore as soon as a race card is pulled. That is an idea behind a race card.

Why the hell do ANY of you believe a WORD of this report. Some bottom-feeder hack journalist claims he heard someone say they heard Bundy say these things... Saturday! No recording, no proof, just a rumor reported as a fact.
It's all pure fabrication.
