Rooster, who the heck knows what these Titans of Industries are thinking or why they decide to make these kind of statements. There is probably some planned outcome these evil pr#$&%*s have in mind.
He is not an idiot so when I read even mild criticism from smart men/women who have been in bed with this Administration from the beginning, I take their quotes with a grain of salt.
From the very beginning, I thought he was making a big mistake backing Obama.
So did a lot of other folks (including Jack Welch).
My perspective is as a senior Wall St investment banker back in the 1980's...so I am like everyone. I am a nobody with a POV.
That said, like some folks, I make a living on my POV (as an investor). If I am wrong, I lose real money. Ergo, my money is where my mouth is.
Immelt bet wrong...but GE is still a great company.
