Vladimir Putin has insisted that there are no Russian troops in eastern Ukraine - just like he insisted there were no Russian troops in Crimea until he admitted it last week.
Now, the New York Times reports there are photos that clearly show known Russian military and intelligence people mixed in with pro-Russian militias, fomenting strife in Eastern Ukraine.
For two weeks, the mysteriously well-armed, professional gunmen known as “green men” have seized Ukrainian government sites in town after town, igniting a brush fire of separatist unrest across eastern Ukraine. Strenuous denials from the Kremlin have closely followed each accusation by Ukrainian officials that the world was witnessing a stealthy invasion by Russian forces.
Now, photographs and descriptions from eastern Ukraine endorsed by the Obama administration on Sunday suggest that many of the green men are indeed Russian military and intelligence forces — equipped in the same fashion as Russian special operations troops involved in annexing the Crimea region in February. Some of the men photographed in Ukraine have been identified in other photos clearly taken among Russian troops in other settings.

By logical obversion, if one is lying about something (troops or not): “They are there,” then the one making the contrary statement must be telling the truth, “They are not there.”

Sorry but Barry’s endorsement (on anything) doesn’t cut it for me.
He was supplying our enemies, al Quaeda, with arms in Syria then it blew up in his face and then he and his henchman Hillary Clinton and John Brennan lied about it, and they have lied about it every day since, enlisting any of their dupes and minions to swear to it, just as Clinton marched his cabinet out to the cameras to smear “that woman”.

So yeah, there’s a presumption that Obama is lying that doesn’t necessarily apply to Putin.
