Looks to me like the obama and his band of commie rats, using the BLM, are probing the enemy’s defenses before a battle.

“The 140-acres were at no time held in private ownership.”

Then explain this:

VAN SUSTEREN: And they seized it without any compensation?

HENDERSON: Yes. I bought the land in 1979. As a matter of fact, I borrowed a portion of the money from Farmer’s Home Administration,... And they came out and inspected the land and said it was all here, surveyed it, and forced me to buy a title policy. And when we lost it, they refused to pay, even though they said that they guaranteed the title to this place whenever I was buying it and so, I have continued to have to pay for this land or the federal government would seize everything else I had. I made my last payment this January on land that I lost in 1984 in a lawsuit.

The sick thing is I never heard of the BLM until they besieged the Bundy Ranch. The government has exploded under Zero.

So wonder if Wendy "Mengele" Davis is out supporting the BLM and Harry Reid?

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Texas/2014/04/22/Exclusive-Greg-Abbott-to-BLM-Come-and-Take-It

After Breitbart Texas reported on the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) intent to seize 90,000 acres belonging to Texas landholders along the Texas/Oklahoma line, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott questioned the BLM’s authority to take such action.

“I am about ready,” General Abbott told Breitbart Texas, “to go to the Red River and raise a ‘Come and Take It’ flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas.”...

As to what kind of standoff might Texas might be facing with the BLM on this matter, Abbott said, “I think that we should be able to resolve this from a legal standpoint because, I believe, what the BLM is doing clearly violates the law. They don’t have any legal standing whatsoever to do this and that’s why I have issued this letter today.”
In the letter, Gen. Abbott details five issues for the BLM to address:

Please delineate with specificity each of the steps for the RMP/EIS process for property along the Red River.

Please describe the procedural due process the BLM will afford to Texans whose property may be claimed by the federal government.

Please confirm whether the BLM agrees that, from 1923 until the ratification of the Red River Boundary Compact, the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma was the gradient line of the south bank of the Red River. To the extent the BLM does not agree, please provide legal analysis supporting the BLM’s position.

Please confirm whether the BLM still considers Congress’ ratification of the Red River Boundary Compact as determinative of its interest in land along the Red River? To the extent the BLM does not agree, please provide legal analysis supporting the BLM’s new position.

Please delineate with specificity the amount of Texas territory that would be impacted by the BLM’s decision to claim this private land as the property of the federal government.

“The letter today,” Abbott explained, “is the first shot in the legal process. We expect answers from them and based upon their answers we will decide what legal action to take.”

” on a case brought by two private landowners, each seeking to adjust boundary lines for their respective properties. The BLM was not a party to any litigation between landowners. The 140-acres were at no time held in private ownership”

Uh,,color me confused.

Two PRIVATE landowners,,seeking to adjust boundary lines,,,,and then we segue to the 140 acres (was 116 in Abbott’s letter) was “at no time held in private ownership”

Is that Obamaspeak? Can I get a translator please?

The BLM opened up a can of worms in Nevada.

However, if BLM invades Texas, it will make the Bundy raid look like a
warmup.

Tens of thousands of Texas Patriots will show up to defend Texas landowners. Don’t mess with Texas.

This 140 acres is different from the current potential to take some 90,000 acres.
The Tommy Henderson case was back in the 1980s and is being used by the BLM to claim
an additional 90,000 acres. How this will all play out is yet to be determined.

snip
Tommy Henderson lost a lawsuit thirty years ago and with it 140 acres of his ranchland. The BLM victory resulted in the Oklahoma/Texas border being redrawn a mile to the south of where it had previously been.

What they replied to is not what I understood to be the argument or premise. I was hearing about more like 190,000 acres of land. Not 140.

Liberal combat, change the argument. Deny that you know what the other party is even talking about. Answer a different question than was asked.

My wife does that and it drives me insane. It is dishonest and deceitful at best.

I was looking around for more information on how the feds "manage" these public lands. I recalled that in 2011, there was a huge wildfire in eastern Arizona that destroyed over 500,000 acres of mostly alpine forest. Most of that land was in the Apache National Forest. But I remembered that it seemed odd that the wildfire came to a halt at the boundary of the indian reservation. And then I found this: Experts: Managing tribal forest helped stop Wallow Fire at reservation.

The feds should never be allowed to manage land or wildlife, in my opinion. They do nothing but destroy. The same thing happened in California in 2003, and many other states where wildfires have destroyed the forests these agencies are supposedly managing.

“denied any expansion of holdings along the Red River”

Interpret this how you will, but every word needs explained.

Search
tawriya.

Maybe the ‘holdings’ are entirely new and seen from the land instead.

Might want to disperse any small arms/ammo and mobile weapons systems out of the NG armories before the Feds can secure them.
