The Blaze radio host Glenn Beck revealed on Monday that he deeply regrets giving Mitt Romney the gift he gave him when the former Massachusetts governor ran for president. Beck revealed that he gave Romney a rare, first-edition copy of President George Washingtons farewell address for which he never even received a thank you.
I was trying to cement in his mind, You have run an honorable race, Beck said said, explaining the rationale behind the gift. I dont agree with you on everything. But please understand the time that were in, and if you win, you have to be George Washington.
Beck said that the farewell address lists everything that he believes is wrong with the country right now. He said he gave the copy to Romneys son explaining that this was his personal copy.
Theyre really rare and expensive, and I never even got a thank-you note, Beck said, shaking his head. Never even got a thank-you note. Pisses me off to this day.

I think he just got the letter but I had to leave and didnt hear the end of the show.
I agree, I generally like Glen Beck, but that radio show with those guys gigling like school girls irritates me to the point that I can't listen.
Gave it all up and not even a kiss.
Boo hoo.
Glad I am not the only one that noticed that. It was especially bad a couple weeks back when Glenn was not on the program.
I would donate to a monkey's campaign against Hillary. It's what is going to save us to keep that monster out of office after O's 8 years of hell.
That kind of emotion-driven political "reasoning" is how we got here in the first place.
SMWife, voting "against" is like voting for the Tooth Fairy: purely pretend. You only get to vote FOR. If you vote for a monkey, you can tell yourself you were voting "against" Hillary, but that is a lie. Voting "against" may have been your intention, but functionally, you will ONLY have voted FOR a monkey. PERIOD.
And when the monkey gets in office and royally screws things up (big surprise!), will YOU be accountable for what you voted for? Or will you go into denial and whine that you didn't vote for that monkey, you voted against Hillary!!!
If you're going to vote, vote FOR what you know is right instead of voting FOR what you know is wrong.
