For once I agree with him. If he went, it would disturb the funeral big time and we’d all be saying what a narcissistic person he is - making his aunt’s death all about him.

Maybe he sent flowers? :)

But, to show respect, he didn’t have to go golfing during the funeral. But then, he has no respect for anything.

Anybody with a “bad” side of the family can appreciate the fine line between honoring your own and inviting them into your life. He acknowledged her passing, helped with funeral expenses, sent sympathies and flowers. I don’t care for the man and am not pleased that he’s President at all, let alone a two term President. But he’s done nothing wrong in this instance. Critics are getting carried away. There are ample targets of criticism with the Obama administration, but this isn’t one of them.
