If a republican candidate cannot articulate why we should protect the life of a poor, innocent baby, then that guy is totally disqualified in my mind.
And if a candidate cannot see the damage to the individual and to the culture caused by homosexual behavior, then he simply isn't well read.
And if he can't see the need for self-defense with the BLM putting snipers on the hillsides surrounding normal American citizens, then they're closet big-government charlatans.
And if they can't bow their heads and ask God's blessing on America, then they do not have a grasp on reality.
I will NOT vote for a wishy-washy, baby killing, disease spreading, slavery advocating atheist.
I don’t care for Huckabee’s pro-amnesty position, but he is right about life, marriage, family, and self-defense.

It speaks volumes that one of the less inspiring, modestly conservative possibilities of past years has to admonish the post 2012 GOP about core principles.
>evangelical voters will simply stay home
That worked really well for “Senator Akin” and “President Romney”. If you like getting President Obamas, you can keep getting President Obamas.
?????
Does that fat goober think that illegals given amnesty will vote for a GOP candidate who supports those issues over a lib Dem who offers them free stuff like birth control, preschool, minium wage,...and supports gay marriage and birth control mandates?
He cant be as stupid as he acts.
That is why I don't watch Huckster .
I rarely agree with Huck’s political outlooks, but he is dead on here. As I responded at the time to Mitch Daniel’s comments. If ‘we’ call a truce, is the opposition also calling a truce or are they continuing to push forward? Watch the advancement of the gay agenda the past two years to realize how well that strategy would work.
What our side has to do is stick to the correct principles and do a much better job advancing them...and stop letting the opposition define then. Our side is horrible on that last part on issues across the board.
We essentially had won the marriage debate and sat on our butts while the left repackaged the discussion with the H8 campaign. They changed it from a logical debate to an emotional one very quickly and now we sit in a losing position. The NRA and gun owners have the model, we need to use it on other issues and stay on the offensive and never stop selling. The left uses every tool at their disposal...Hollywood, education, political organizations and media...24/7. We have to act accordingly.
If social conservatives want to stay home, they are hurting themselves. They are helping Liberals win. This election is to me about social issues but reducing Federal Government. I don't care if my neighbor is living with a member of the same sex raising kids (they are and they are wonderful moms with polite kids).
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
If the choice is Hillary, or a pro abortion GOPe, who would you vote for?
I will not vote for either. I know that many will blame me, and use it as an excuse to further the liberal agenda in the GOP, but I will not vote for infanticide knowingly.
What Huck is saying is correct. He is outlining a plan for conservatives to win, and if we follow that plan - we will win elections.
And how do we know that? By looking at recent history. As we all know, George W. won the election in 2004 over John Kerry. And what single demographic group put him over the top? It wasn’t Soccer Moms or NASCAR Dads.
It was Evangelicals.
But since then the Republican party has betrayed its base. They have not only ignored us, but have kicked us to the curb. And when the predictable happened? They blame us.
Hoo Boy.
It really isn’t that much of an issue. It doesn’t matter if the GOP talks about social issues or not, the media will talk about it anytime it is in the best interest of the Democrat candidate. See the “War on Women” meme. If the media can use those issue to the dems advantage it will be talked about.
If you want to stop it you turn it back on them. When they press you on your pro life stand you admit you are pro life, and believe the voters have the right to know how pro abortion your opponent is. Where does he/she draw the line, 20 weeks, 27 weeks, just before birth, is it alright to deliver the baby and then let it die? The voters have a right to know where both candidates stand. Pull this off a few times and the questions will stop being asked, guaranteed.
We need to start doing this on all the divisive issues. Force the dems to articulate how out of touch and radical their positions really are. If they won’t answer the questions then neither do you.
This was a big part of the problem with Romney. He simply wasn’t, and still isn’t, credible as a conservative with respect to any of the social/cultural issues.
Huckabee is not a conservative, and he does not represent any conservative people or viewpoints.
The Huckster wasn’t terribly pro “life” when it came to the lives of those cops murdered by the guy he let out of prison.
more words of wisdom from the “I’m taking my toys and going home” group.....
go home to mama and cry...
with moral decline every where, we use a huckabee in the whitehouse. he can led america in prayer.
I’ll always vote but I may not have anyone to vote for. Theres just has many non social issue reasons to not vote for the GOPE. For example, No one primaried my rep and he unabashedly votes for Boehner so I’ll just have to hope there’s some candidate from another party. If Bevin does not beat Mammoth McConnell, who has more cave in him than our National Park, I’m changing my registration. But I’ll always show up at the polls.
