Original Title:Heres What CBS Had to Say in Response to Sharyl Attkissons Claims About Networks Reporting Bias
CBS News on Monday responded to its former employee Sharyl Attkissons claims that the network indirectly discouraged her from doing investigative reporting critical of the Obama administration. Attkisson reported extensively on Benghazi and the Fast and Furious gun-walking scandal.
The ex-CBS reporter later revealed that she didnt run into the same roadblocks while reporting on issues that hurt former President George W. Bush. She blamed a lot of the bias problems on special and corporate interests.
n response to Attkissons public comments, CBS News issued a statement to TVNewser:
CBS News maintains the highest journalistic standards in what it chooses to put on the air. Those standards are applied without fear or favor.
The spokesperson did not address Attkissons allegations specifically.
In a Sunday interview with Brian Stelter on Reliable Sources, Attkisson said it appeared that politics sometimes kept some of her stories from making it on the air.
The tendency on the part of some of these managers who have key influences has been they never mind the stories that seem to go against the grain of the Republican Party, she said. But they do often seem to feel defensive about, almost, personally defensive on stories that could make the government look bad.

nuff said!
Every once in a while a slave escapes the plantation. Can’t have that so Attkisson’s getting the KKK treatment via Media Matters.
All Dan did was get caught faking the news. Sharyl admitted that they fake it.
It doesn’t say much for the US media, if CBSNews really is the best in the business.
Ah, yes, the non-responsive response.
” - - - final analysis realized that Sharyl Attkisson was no Dan Rather. - - - )
Okay, okay - - - , I think I’ve got it.
Yeah, - - - Sharyl is honest and Dan is not.
Why would this CBS Suit Rather that Sharyl be dishonest?
I still don’t get it - - - ?
Must be something about gender-based income inequality - - - ?
Faking the news and lying has been CBS' stock-in-trade since the 1930s, starting with Edward R. Murrow. A communist from his days with the IIE and palling around the Wobblies while working as a logger, Murrow was a master of lies. His name wasn't even Edward -- it was really Egbert. He even lied about his age to Edward Klauber and Paul White of Columbia (now CBS) to get his job. Egbert lied to his wife, Janet, about the affair he was having with Ida Lou Anderson of Washington State College [sic].
Then in the late 30s, Murrow began a hiring spree of fellow travelers like Howie K. Smith, Eric Sevareid, lil' Dougie Edwards, Charlie Collingwood and Dickey Hottelet. Contrary to what's believed today, it was, in fact, Senator Joseph McCarthy who ultimately triumphed and was right in spite of the relentless smear campaign of Egbert and Freddie Friendly (another liar -- his name was really Ferdinand Wachenheimer). Don Hollenbeck, an intimate friend of Murrow, was exposed as a commie by Jack O'Brian of the New York Journal-American. Ol' Donnie cowardly committed suicide which devastated Egbert since one of his "boys" was no longer around.
The tradition of the CBS brand of vile anti-American hatred began long before Scott Pelley, Bob Schieffer, Dan Rather and KKKronite. It was the loathsome, often drunk, Egbert R. Murrow who started it rolling with the blessing of Billy Boy Paley (whose family roots were Russian). In its wake, Murrow left his own harvest of shame.
BWAHAHAHAHHAA! No really what did they really say? What dolts
Spit.
Well, that sounds fake but accurate. What font was it printed in?
At least he smoked himself to death.
Tonight on BOR his lead in for Tokyo Rove was: don’t bash Obama as we have seem to have done that quite enough. To me it seemed like the word has come down from on high at FOX to keep off the back of the tan man. I will be interested to see if that word is also received by the other personalities at the network.
I bet they couldn't say that with a straight face.
See? B.S.
CBS has standards LOL since when..like the majority of the media in this country, they do whatever it takes to protect Obama..Obama is their guy..now if Obama had an R next to his name, people wouldn’t think that Benghazi was some sort of soft drink, they would know what it is because it would be investigated every single day til we found out the truth, same with all the other scandals that plague this administration
