From the article:

"The original site, which has now been replaced with a more responsible, updated version, even offered this gem:

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room… snorting Palcohol. Yes, you can snort it. And you’ll get drunk almost instantly because the alcohol will be absorbed so quickly in your nose. Good idea? No. It will mess you up. Use Palcohol responsibly.

The updated site now says that the powder is cut with enough filler to make snorting inefficient. "

Cyclodextrin probably isn’t as ‘effective’ as the sweetener in the gummy bears.

I know someone who eats 3 or 4 of those every day for therapeutic purposes. Ditched a very expensive prescription drug for that purpose too.

>>So what happens when you snort it.

Damn you! That was my first thought.<<

Has it been 10 seconds since release?

That should be the timeframe to answer that question...

It's not hard to come up with ways kids are going to get in trouble with this one, . . .

Kids? Many, many irresponsible Freepers will get in trouble with this one. Time was when Conservative people looked to live according to common sense and high standards. Now, just any ole drunk can be a conservative.

This nonsense would never need to be invented if we had reasonable laws concerning alcoholic beverages.”

Just curious, what specific laws concerning alcoholic beverages do you think we have at the present time that are unreasonable and responsible for this invention.

How the hell does this even WORK? Doesn’t alcohol evaporate during the powdering process?

For starters, the prohibitions against having alcoholic beverages in public (such as at the beach or just walking down the street). Now everybody toting around bottled water is going to be under suspicion because all you have to do is pour one of those powder packets into it to make it an alcoholic drink.

Mark my words, people with water bottles are going to start coming under the scrutiny of law enforcement and they will be equipped with electronic devices that test the alcohol content of said water.
